Prescott Youth Football and Cheer Association has created a new volunteer board. We are excited to announce that our league has joined the Northern Arizona Youth Football Association. With this we will be playing local games with our neighboring comunities. NAYFA is comprised of Prescott, Prescott Valley, Chino Valley, Dewey-Humboldt, Bagdad, Wickenburg, Cottonwood, Camp Verde, Sedona, Flagstaff, Payson and Williams.

On July 30th and 31st we will have our Youth Cheer Camp at PHS hosted by PHS Coaches, Cheerleaders and Youth coaches. Please refer to our online flyer under the "Forms" page for times and ages. The fee for this camp will be $15.00 and all participants will receive a t shirt. You can reigster for this camp at any of our upcoming registrations or mail in the online registration form with your payment.
DRAFT DAY & LAST REGISRATION!!!!!
July 24th at Prescott High School. Meet on the Football Stadium.
Schedule:
Mighty Mites: 8:30am - 9:30am Physicals then Drills for Draft
Minors: 9:00am - 10:00am Physicals then Drills for Draft
Majors: 9:30am - 1030am Physicals then Drills for Draft
Cheer: 10:00am for Physicals
If you are not registered show up 1/2 hour earlier then listed above for each age group and you can register at our booth. Cost is still $125.00 for football and $90.00 for Cheer. That includes all gear except for Football Cleats.
Football athletes should wear shorts, t shirts and athetic shoes for drills during the draft. We want everyone to show up during the above scheduled times so we can make this years draft go as smooth as possible and not be an all day event for the parents.
A copy of your childrens birth certificate will need to be turned in during registration as well as a copy of any proof of residency for Yavapai County. You can fill out the needed registration forms from our "Forms Page" or fill them out during the registration dates. If downloaded you may mail them to our P.O. Box listed on this website. By mail you may pay with a check or money order. We also have all forms available at the Parks and Recreation Office on E. Gurley St. We will still have our early registration fee of $125.00 for Football and $90.00.
PYFCA is asking any businesses to become a sponsor for this upcoming season. We are in need of funds for equipment and scholarships. Each sponsor will receive a business plaque, their business logo on our home game banners and a logo link on our website depending on the bracket that they enter for sponsorship. We have a great business community and lets keep it going!!

We are having a raffle and silent auctions during this fundraiser which includes BBQ grills, Great dinner packages, 4 some Golf packages at Hassayampa, Talking Rock, Prescott Lakes, and much more.
Practice Schedule for 2010
August 2nd thru August 20th will be Monday thru Friday from 5:15pm till 7:15pm at HERITAGE PARK by the Prescott Zoo!!!
We have to have the first three weeks Monday thru Friday for league rules in which all players must have a certain amount of hours in and out of full gear prior to competing in any games.
Starting August 24th we will practice twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the same time listed above at PIONEER PARK!!!
Games will still be on Saturdays

Fundraiser!!!!
With the current economy many businesses are not able to donate to PYFCA. Matt's Saloon in Prescott has offered to put on a fundraiser and give all proceeds to PYFCA. This "Jamaica Me Crazy" adults only event will be held on Sunday July 11th 2010 from 1:30pm to close. As this is held on a Sunday afternoon we are looking for good safe adult family fun. There will be sand, events, food and a real Jamaican Band. Along with this will be a photographer to take your photo with a tropical background for the memories of this event. We will also have raffle prizes to include flatscreen tv's, BBQ Grills, Furniture, Golf, and many others.
This will take some money for us to put on and we are looking for businesses and anyone else to become a sponsor for this event. Each sponsor depending on the amount given will be given anywhere from radio advertising and paper advertising to banners at this event. Please contact PYFCA for further information. Tickets are $10.00 each for entry.
